As Zoey steals and enjoys both her and Mia's candy cane bones it made me thing about Christmas and some things I'm really thankful for:1. First of all I'm thankful that December is almost over! Which means Chemo is almost over! I go for my 6th treatment Tuesday :) Which means only 2 more after that! (yeah yeah yeah!!!)
2. Taxol is much easier, and aside from one night of excruciating bone pain its very manageable, and I'm going to start walking Zoey again every day!
3. I'm very thankful for my eyebrows and eyelashes.. they are strong! like me, and are still hanging on :) for now... I'm told they can fall out after your very last treatment :/
4. Thank you to all of my friends who realize this is a long stupid process, and aren't just wanting to have me back when its all over (because it may never be over completely). Those of you that are by my side fighting this monster with me you mean more then any gift that could be given :)
5. I'm very thankful for the ability to sleep through these 4 hour chemos! If none of you have ever had benadryl through an IV its like the most potent sleeping pill EVER! it knocked me out for an hour last time, and then I woke up and ordered Jimmy Johns! Thats right.. they deliver to the hospital haha... who knew!
6. Most importantly.. I'm thankful for my health. Although I have cancer the fact that I'm young, and otherwise healthy has made this easier then it could have been.
